Men’s Jeans for this Spring
Jeans are a staple item in the majority of closets; they are a very versatile piece of clothing that can be dressed up or down depending on your mood and the occasion. There are lots of different styles and colors so most people can find a pair of jeans to suit their shape, tastes and size; sometimes it just takes a little bit of searching but once you find the right jeans you will wonder how you survived without them
Dress them up
Jeans started life as a tough garment for working in, but they have evolved to find a niche in almost every occasion; you can wear them to most places if you match them with the right top and shoes. Dark colored jeans are generally smarter than paler ones, and black jeans in particular can be dressed up with a smart shirt and tie to class up your act nicely. A nice cashmere sweater can also take jeans from casual into dressy, and a smart jacket will finish off the look so that you will fit in at a trendy bar with no problem at all.
Go casual
The latest spring trend for men’s jeans is to turn them up at the bottom; wear them with a T shirt and deck shoes or even flip flips for a casual look which is perfect for a picnic in the park. Try some colored jeans for a really summery look; add a T shirt in a contrasting color if you are feeling bold, of keep your top neutral for a less in your face style. Pale, faded jeans are great for the sunshine, and they will keep you cooler as well because the lighter color reflects the sun rather than absorbing it as dark colors do.
Work them hard
Jeans are also great for the purpose they were originally designed for, laboring. If you have an old pair of jeans that are torn or just a little past their best then don’t throw them out, keep them to one side for use as the perfect DIY or gardening outfit. Jeans that have been well worn in are also very comfortable, especially as they will have molded to fit your body perfectly so keep your old jeans for relaxing about the house in on a lazy Sunday.
Jeans are the ultimate in versatile clothing; they suit pretty much everyone and can work for most occasions. Avoid jeans for a wedding or a first date at a fancy restaurant however smart you think they look, but other than that you can dress them up or down as required and wear them everywhere. Make sure your jeans fit well, if they are a little big then accessorize with a chunky belt or you will be hitching them up all the time; not an attractive trait. Experiment with different fittings such as the skinny leg jeans; these aren’t for everyone but can look great with the right outfit. Pretty much everyone has a pair or two of jeans in their closet that they feel great in, and that is what clothing choice is all about; if you feel good you will look good too.
